What a find !!! Alan's work is superlative as is his personality. He repaired an antique side table which was of great sentimental value since my grandfather made it. It had a parquet top which was scratched by a careless art director. It can be easily further damaged by a craftsman who doesn't know what he's doing. A lot of repair people won't even touch such a piece. From the time I first contacted him, I was confident that he would be able to do it. To add frosting to the cake, his price was competitive.

When I got the table back, I knew I had made the right choice. The piece was perfect. He even went the extra mile, getting the glass top replaced for the price of the glass--he didn't add anything on. I can't begin to express my enthusiasm as I highly recommend him. So so happy to have found him. My instincts were correct:
